A Farewell Fr. John

JOIN OUR FAREWELL TO FR. JOHN SIEMIANOWSKI…

Due to Covid restrictions, we have created several opportunities so all of us have a chance to say good-bye.

Fr John’s Mass at St. Kieran is the weekend of June 19-20

VIRTUAL PHOTO ALBUM

We are collecting any photos that parishioners want to share that will be displayed on our website.

VIRTUAL GOODBYES

On our website stkieranchurch.org there is a link where you can share a memory, story or message to Fr. John that will be displayed for everyone to read

PARISH GIFT

St. Kieran has purchased a stole for Fr. John to take with him as his gift. This will be presented on Saturday June 19th

BEST WISHES

On a table in the vestibule have St. Kieran stationary and an envelope that you can use to write your farewells on. Or if you prefer you can send your own cards as well.

(THESE CAN BE DROPPED OFF IN THE OFFICE, MAILED BACK TO US OR THERE WILL BE A DESIGNATED BASKET IN THE VESTIBULE)

At the end of Mass on June 20th we will present him with this flood of best wishes from all of you.

PARADE

After each Mass on the weekend of June 19-20, when Fr. John leaves church, we would like to have a “parade of cars” proceed past the rectory. Honk your horn and wave posters and make some noise!

Thanks for your help with this celebration,

St. Kieran Staff

  1. Father John,
Thank you for the time you spent with us. You helped St. Kieran through some dark times. We will miss you. Keep us in your prayers as we will keep you in ours. God bless you.

  2. Father John, you have been such a great influence and leader of the parish. Your servant leadership has been a welcoming inspiration. I heard father Bill mention if you want to be a shepherd you need to smell like the sheep, and that is truly reflective of you. I have been a part of St. Kieran since first grade and have seen many Pastors over the years and nobody has been able to accomplish what you have, especially with the added responsibilities. The Barker family wishes you well and continued success. God bless you in your next journey.

  3. Fr. John,
You will be missed. You have truly been a pastor in the best sense of the word, and your sheep will miss your smiling eyes, your down to earth, applicable to daily life, homilies, your example of humble, but responsible leadership, and so many other endearing characteristics. We wish you God’s richest blessings as you begin this new season of your life’s journey. May the Holy Spirit meet you wherever and whenever you need Him and may you grow daily in your awareness of His presence with you. Love and prayers always, Tim and Connie

  4. Fr. John, Thanks for all you did for our church and for being a great example of living a life of kindness and faith. We appreciated your work and the service you have provided through the years. Thank you for your friendship and sense of humor. It was good having you around. Saying goodbye is hard and we will miss you and your happy smile. You have touched many hearts. We were blessed to have you at St. Kieran. Always remember us. We wish you the best. Stay safe. Love, Deb Linde and Family

  5. Father John, I am just reading now that you are leaving! Although my husband and I have moved out of state we still remember you fondly and are so grateful that you married us almost 7 years ago! We wish you well in your next endeavor and hope to see you again one day! Thank you for everything you have done for St Kieran and for just being a wonderful and warm person! Sincerely, Grazia and Joe Hutchinson

  6. Father John

Wishing you the best of luck in your new adventures. Very sorry to see you go but change is inevitable these days.

Thanks for your years of service to us.

  7. Fr. John,
I don’t know if you remember me, but I’ve been a member of St. Kieran since 1991. I’ve participated in ministries as Eucharist Minister, lector, and choir member for 22 years. All ended at the start of Covid-19. But all of this leads me to say that your good leadership will remain with me even after you leave St. Kieran. My good wishes go with you.
    God Bless,
    Sandra Ciccotelli

  8. Fr. John,
Best of luck in your new assignments. We will miss you, but know that all things change. We know that you will be successful in all that you do. St. Kieran has greatly benefited from your guidance and we truly appreciate all that you have done for us. Thank you and bless you.

  9. Father John:
Thank you for your dedicated service to St. Kieran and to Christ. You are a shining example of a caring church leader who has tended his flock with kindness, intellect and a welcomed sense of humor. You will be greatly missed. Your compassion and understanding helped my family when mom passed, making it a bit easier to move forward. May your new adventures be joyful and successful.

    Thank you,
    John Geraci & Family
