With the
help of the Student Council, we have outlined the service projects
that our students will participate in for the academic year. I am
very excited that our young people have found so many varied ways of
serving God’s people. We will be including our parish family in our
service projects, asking you to generously help with our efforts!
Projects we have lined up for the year include the following:
· October—Food
drive to benefit the pantry at Catholic Charities in South Holland
· November—Penny
collection to benefit the South Suburban Humane Society
· December—Toy
drive to benefit the needy families through Catholic Charities in
South Holland
· January—School
supplies and books collected for our sharing parish, Our Lady of
Tepeyac
· Lent—Collect
supplies for one of the local Women’s shelters (The Haven Project)
· April—Collection
of supplies/money for the men and women in our armed forces |
