Pro-Life Ministry This
ministry’s goal is to promote a deeper respect for the dignity and sacredness
of human life
in all its stages.
Participants work to encourage prayer, inform the parish community, and
motivate action, such as writing or calling legislators about important issues.
St. Kieran Parish participates in the Adopt a
Mother and Baby Project sponsored
by the archdiocesan Respect Life Office. Our group also organizes a Mothers’
Day flower sale and Christmas wreath sale to benefit the Womens’ Center of
Greater Chicagoland. This Catholic counseling organization specializes in
reaching women who are considering abortion, and offers them whatever spiritual,
emotional, and material support they need to bear the children they carry.
