AMAZING
GRACE
The wonderful and generous
nature of St. Kieran Parish never ceases to amaze me! I would like to
thank the parish organizations and members who made the reception so
beautiful. Thank you to the parish staff, Breakfast Club, Women’s Club,
Parish Council, Social Committee, School Board, PTN, Athletics, Men’s
Club and RE. And thanks to the many parishioners who baked and served.
Thank you! It was such a joy to meet with so many of you after the
Masses last Sunday and to share a memory or a story. Thank you so very
much for taking the time to wish me well!
Whether you know it or not,
the congregation becomes the wife and family of a pastor. St. Kieran is
a very large and fairly diverse family. Like all families there are
differences of opinion, temperament, and taste. Sometimes family members
bicker and occasionally things can get more serious. But always, family
should be the place where we find forgiveness and acceptance.
From the depth of my heart I want to thank you for being such a great
family. Know that you will be in my prayers in the days and years
to come. Please keep me in your prayers as well. God bless you!
