Sadly, I am already getting calls from parents a few who are afraid they
will not be able to send their children back to St. Kieran School
because of layoffs, medical bills, or other financial difficulties.
These are children who are good Catholic children and fine little
scholars. It breaks my heart to think they may not be able to join us
in this coming year. Tuition costs continue to rise! We have to pay
for teachers’ well deserved salaries and benefits and for
ever-increasing supply and utility costs. You know what that is like.
Last year some of you volunteered to become a godparent by helping to
pay for a child’s tuition. Here I am begging for your help again.
Would you please help a cash strapped family to provide a Catholic
education for their children? Your contribution is, of course, tax
deductible.
