Recycle Rally Sunday

Bring your old newspapers, magazines, and clean aluminum cans to St. Kieran when you come to Mass. Volunteers will be in the east parking lot from 7:15 a.m. until 1:15 p.m. They will gladly lift your bags from your backseat or trunk! Sure, you can recycle through the bins in your community; you can take your recycling to the nearest business that has recycle bins; but you really help your church when you bring your newspapers, magazines, papers, and clean aluminum cans here to be recycled at St. Kieran. Recycle here all month long!

Bring your recycling to St. Kieran Parish! Recycle Dumpsters are available in the east lot everyday. (more…)

From the Religious Education Office…

Dear Friends,

“Here I am, Lord ….” How many of us have uttered those words out loud? Or in our hearts? Look around at those who have: at the obvious — priests, deacons, religious; and at the not-so-obvious — greeters, lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, Ministers of Care, ushers, altar servers, cantors, choir members. Remember how beautiful the church looked during the Christmas Season? That was the result of Arts & Environment Committee members who said, “Here I am, Lord….” Is God calling you as he called Samuel? Are you ready to say, “Here I am, Lord?” If you are, call the Rectory office or the Religious Education office. We will be happy to answer your questions and point you in the right direction!

Teri Klopp

Thank you from Father Joe

In addition to all those who gave so generously this past Christmas, I would like to offer my appreciation and that of the entire parish to our St. Vincent DePaul Society members who organized and coordinated the giving of gifts, food baskets and additional assistance to those most in need. These, along with many in our parish, embody charity in action. May the Lord reward their kindness and all who provided for those most in need.

Meet Rev. Gerald Watt

Fr. Jerry Watt from Catholic Relief Services will be visiting St. Kieran Parish the weekend of January 21 and 22. Fr. Jerry is part of a national effort to raise awareness on behalf of poor overseas and to provide different opportunities for you to get involved in the work of CRS.
